ABOUT LINDSEY DOTSON
Industrial Designer - NC State Alumni
I enjoy helping people by designing for a purpose. I am very hands-on and enjoy prototyping. I enjoy playing a part in the design process from beginning to end.
I have a family full of engineers and started my path in engineering as well. After finding industrial design, there was no going back. Having the amazing privilege to talk to engineers on a regular basis is very beneficial for my design process and has helped me make several of my designs more feasible. With this mindset, one of my latest projects placed 3rd place in the
2022 Stanford Longevity Design Challenge!

In my free time, I enjoy woodworking, jewelry making, teaching indoor cycle classes, playing guitar + singing, SCUBA Diving, rock climbing, watersports, and snow skiing. I also am the president of the Alumni NC State Snow Ski Club, where I plan trips to go across the east coast and midwest on ski trips!
